Fresh Chestnuts
from Italy

Straight from Italy to your door

These are the same chestnuts we’ve been roasting at our chestnut stand
in Tivoli since 2019. Now you can make them at home.

We import the best Italian marroni of the highest roasting quality.
Large size, sweet and nutty flavor, easy to peel. The same quality as the professionals
chestnut roasters use in Italy.

Every year, we select the best harvest of the year and import them directly to Copenhagen. Now we ship them throughout Denmark.

Every order includes our guide to the perfect roasting: in the oven, in a pan, or over an open fire.

HOW TO ROAST CHESTNUTS

1. Cut a cross

Cut a small cross, about 3 mm deep, into the shell on the curved side of each chestnut.

A board with a knife sticking out of it is embedded in a large, round, dark brown chestnut.

2. Toast them

Place the chestnuts on a baking sheet
and roast them in the oven at 200°C (convection) or 220°C (conventional oven) for about 20–25 minutes.

Tip: Air fry at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Do you prefer boiled chestnuts? Boil them for about 25 to 30 minutes.

3. Click and enjoy

Place the hot chestnuts in a bowl and cover with a dish towel for 5 to 10 minutes. Peel and serve. Try them with a little salted butter!

Should we handle the roasting?

Book our chestnut cart for your next event. We’ll come to you and roast the chestnuts on site—warm, freshly roasted, and ready for your guests.
